During your theology studies, you may develop a deeper interest both in the professional examination of Catholic religion and in the question of how religious content can not only be didactically conveyed, but also transferred into an empirical space.
If you can imagine that you would like to help shape the Catholic Church of tomorrow professionally, the Diocese of Aachen offers you the opportunity to pursue the career of a lay ecclesial minister.
The prerequisite is that you write your Master's thesis in the field of Catholic theology, complete your Master's degree and then get in touch with the contact persons in the Diocese of Aachen (German page).
Should you choose this path for yourself, you will then have to take some additional theological examinations.
